Ten Top Unreachable Places!
It is increasingly difficult to enjoy a vacation when we want to desperately get away from it all. The noise of cars roaming along the road and smog that covers our eyes. Too much chaos makes my head spin. I sometimes just want to leave everything behind, including my cell phone and just go. For those who need real peace and want to stay at hotels far away from everything and everyone, while at the same time keep the spirit of adventure, these getaways can help. Although highly expensive, these places I am about to list underneath require a true adventurous spirit, because reaching them is an undertaking! The cost (travel excluded) is not within the reach of everyone. But if you do reach these places, you will be rewarded by their uniqueness, and the experience will remain with you forever.
Do you dare dream along with me?
Then let's get started and visit paradise!
ANDEAN COTTAGE – PERU
Andean Cottage located in Peru offers privacy for its guests. At your disposal, there is a private beach and a pier on a private island in the Lake Titicaca. This getaway vacation spot will not offer you any electricity, or even TV, and no cars will be found anywhere on the island, but on the other hand, a Butler will serve you 24 hours a day. My advice is to bring along some good books to read. Leave your notebook at home because you won't be able to recharge your battery. Getting to the cottage requires transportation by speedboat, which takes four hours while crossing along Lake Titicaca before arriving. The room costs more than 500.00$ dollars per night, but candles are included!
KOKOPELLI'S CAVE -USA
Kokopelli's cave is isolated only because of its particular position, but not because of any distance to the civilized world. The hotel is located in southwestern United States, just outside of Farmington near Four Corners. Famous because they connect on the borders of Arizona, Colorado, New Mexico and Utah. To reach Kokopelli's cave you go down a path, then make the way down a ladder, you will find yourself in the hotel room carved in a cave, 70 meters below the ground. But despite the humidity and the bats, prices start from 200.00$ per night. Not for everyone, but still adventurous.
LODGE BLOOMFIELD-AUSTRALIA
Hotel Lodge Bloomfield, located in Queensland, Australia. You won't be needing your laptop here. To reach this hotel you must get on a charter plane, then get onto your jeep, cross semi-desert areas and tackle the rapids of a river. At this point, you will come face to face with an astonishing view, a hotel located in the Daintree rainforest near the great barrier reef. This place will offer you hiking through the rainforests, waterfalls, sailing and fishing, and to end your day, get an invigorating massage. For this kind of peace, 500.00$ per night for a double!
JULES UNDERSEA LODGE-USA
The Jules Undersea Lodge, in Key Largo, Florida, guests need to actually scuba dive to reach this hotel. To get to your hotel room diving is a must, seven meters deep, you enter your room by coming up from underneath the water and into your room. This was once an underwater laboratory. Enjoy a splendid view from the glass window of your room, have a sip of wine, you are now in an underwater world, perhaps a mermaid will swim on by! For around 450.00$ per night your living under the sea.
HOTEL ARCTIC-GREENLAND
For those who enjoy an extreme amount of ice and watching the aurora borealis, then the ideal place would be the Hotel Arctic in Greenland. A 4 star hotel to the North of the world. Located in Greenland between icebergs, snow and panoramic landscapes, what a view! You can also stay overnight in an igloo, with affordable rates, starting from 200.00$ per night for a double. Don't forget to cover up!
HOTEL GARVAULT-SCOTLAND
Hotel Gravault, situated in the Highlands of Scotland, rates start from around 150.00$ for a double. The hotel is situated between two enormous private hunting reserves and overlooks the waters of Loch Rimsdale, the twin Lake Loch Ness. You won't find a living soul for miles. Guests can enjoy trekking on the Highlands and go fishing for trout or salmon, or use binoculars and do some bird watching. You can then go warm up in front of a relaxed open ground fireplace.
WINTERLAKE-ALASKA
It gets pretty cold at the hotel Winterlake in Alaska, located 200 miles northwest of Anchorage, along the Iditarod trail where every year a marathon is held along its 1770 km trail with 40 degrees below zero. To reach the Winterlake you must take the sea planes which are small planes specifically designed and adapted to land on snow. You can enjoy some kayaking while being completely surrounded by the sound of water. Sport fishing, catch some trout and salmon, and enjoy some yoga. Though this is paradise, it aint cheap! because here my friends you will be paying 2.000$ per night!
THE BEACH HOUSE-MALDIVES
For those who prefer warm weather then the choice would be "The Beach House" located in Manafaru, the Maldives. Managed by Waldorf Astoria, this place offers really high end services, such as a spa, pools, an art gallery and exclusive restaurants. The Maldives is one of the most exotic and one-of-a-kind holiday destinations in the world, offers stunning coral islands, endless turquoise waters and spectacular white powdery beaches. Cost rates go for about 650.00$ per night. Don't forget your sunscreen!
DESROCHES ISLAND RESORT-SEYCHELLES
And away we go! into the tropics of the Indian Ocean. The Island resort of Desroches, in one of its 115 islands, Seychelles is located 1500 km from East Africa. The Desroches is one of the newest hotels of luxury, with satellite TV in all rooms, Spa and bar. Guests can play tennis, cycling, surfing and sample the bonefish, a particular species of fish. The fee is around 600.00$ per night for a double room. I mean it, enjoy yourself!
PETIT SAINT VINCENT-CARIBBEAN
The Petit St. Vincent Resort is located in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, on a private island in the Caribbean. With two miles of beach completely isolated, often you get to spend an entire week without encountering another human being. Guests must first arrive by plane to Barbados, then take a charter flight to the Grenadines. The last stretch of the journey will be taken by ferry. When guests of Petit Saint Vincent need something, it is required that they put a note in their mailbox and then raise a yellow flag when signaling for service personnel. 500 -600.00$ per night.
And there you have it - your retreat to paradise.
The best hotel-accommodations with an extra touch.

Interesting information.
Thanks
Hi,
Great hub! I can vouch for many of the Highland hotels in Scotland - they're stunning. But the rest of your locations are fascinating!
The Jules Undersea Lodge is the place for me, just as soon I find the time and money. I wonder if you need a scuba diving license?
These sound absolutely amazing. And I can believe that they would cost a pretty penny. But it definitely stirs the motivation to get a dam good job!
Lovely write up, you must have traveled all over the world in 70 days.
Keep the good work going

Incredible! Never in my wildest dreams would I imagine a place like Jules Undersea Lodge! Imagine that! A hotel underneath the Sea! And in Key Largo Florida to top it off! Enjoyed your column!
What an amazing hub! very interesting!
Enjoyable list, interesting and exciting to know about this type of travel.
This is so great! I never new such places even existed! These are certainly different. My husband would love them all! Very different.
As a lover of travel, I had to read this! I like your ideas, but many are a weeeee bit out of my price range. However, if I had the cash, I would love to stay at the JULES UNDERSEA LODGE-USA!!!
Voted up, awesome and SOCIALLY SHARING.
Very cool. I had heard of cave one but not the others. I would LOVE to do the underwater hotel. Well, even if I can't go to these, my time viewing your hub was a nice 5 minute mental vacation:) thanx!
I wish i could afford to go to some of these places. Amazing. The most extreme place i ever stayed at was a hostel in Switzerland that could only be reached by cable car or hiking. It pales in comparison to these wonders.
Petit St. Vincent is an awesome destination with it private island experience. It one of the Caribbean top secluded getaway.
Janga, have you ever stayed at the underwater hotel?
Wow, I am so jealous. Nope, don't need any dive lessons. Does food taste better under pressure? Ha!
Unbelievable! These places exists? Want to try the Hotel Arctic in Greenland. Very neat hub Janga! You really rocks!
